Denver, Colorado • Front Range • & Beyond
Hi there, I'm Nick Sparks. No, not the author who wrote The Notebook. That's my brother my cousin (no relation) Nicholas Sparks.
I think weddings and elopements are pretty awesome. In fact, I’ve been to just about every corner of Colorado to document them. When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m usually partaking in travel photos, street photography or taking pictures of my toy Australian shepherd.
From wedding days at Front Range venues to intimate mountain celebrations deeper in the Rockies, I’m drawn to photographs that feel atmospheric and honest. As a Colorado wedding photographer, I’m especially interested in how different parts of the state shape the feel of an image.
Over the years, I’ve photographed weddings and elopements across a wide range of settings. As my work has evolved, more of it has taken me into the mountains, which has helped deepen my feel for how light shifts throughout the day at varying elevations and wraps around different mountain peaks at sunset.
Featured across Colorado in places like Vail, Ward, Aspen, Crested Butte, Grand Lake, Breckenridge, Howard, and Colorado Springs.
Portfolio Vol. I brings together a broader edit of my work as a Colorado wedding photographer, from mountain weddings and elopements to portraits, details, and in-between moments photographed across the state. It’s a good place to explore a wider range of scenes, locations, and photographs from full wedding days.
